About Construction Gallery

Construction Gallery is a three-month pop-up creative hub in Tooting, showcasing locally-based talent across the fields of visual art, live art, music and literature. Through the generosity of the Outer London Fund the main space will host ambitious large-scale sculpture with a further five project spaces dedicated to bringing together artists, writers, performers and designers to create new work for the public to explore.

All visitors welcome! From local residents to international tourists: drop by for exhibitions and events, browse the on-site shop for fabulous designs, limited edition artworks and cutting edge literature, use our free Wifi work-desks and hang out in our cafe for delicious freshly made treats that are baked to order and hot drinks by Tea Party Cakes.

Construction Gallery is directed by POST Artists network. Founded in 2008, POST is the peer-led network for artists who respond to place. POST Projects seek to reveal hidden sites and investigate notions of public space.

The project has been made possible by a grant from the Outer London Fund and the generosity of Tooting Arts Network, Wandsworth Council, Russells DIY and Hardware and the many artists and residents who have given time and energy to the project.
